Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alika Hakekia (ranked 1240 p4p, 2020 weight class) and Deer Hunter (ranked 151 p4p, 230 weight class). Hakekia kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is FE!N. Alika Hakekia has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 38 - 26 - 3, fighting out of Montreal, Alika Hakekia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 18 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Deer Hunter! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Eliza Hachem and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hakekia thuds a left hand into Hunter's body. Hunter lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Hakekia throws a leg kick which misses Hunter's front leg but catches the back leg as Hunter tries to avoid it. Hunter throws a leg kick but Hakekia checks it. Hakekia throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Hakekia dips to his left and cracks Hunter with an uppercut! Hunter connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Hunter rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hakekia counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Hunter has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Hunter throws a push kick but Hakekia slaps the foot to one side. Hunter is looking to slow Hakekia down with leg kicks. Hakekia takes a shot right to the bread basket. Hunter takes a shot right to the bread basket. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hakekia throws a hook to the side of Hunter's head but Hunter sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Hakekia lands a nice looking kick to the body. Hunter takes a step back to recover. Hunter looks to land a body kick but Hakekia moved away. Hunter takes one to the chin there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hunter. Hakekia swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Hakekia connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Hakekia throws a body kick that misses. Hunter throws a low kick but Hakekia moves out of range easily. Hakekia misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Hunter counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Hunter uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hakekia.
Hunter throws a body kick that misses enabling Hakekia to counter with a crisp jab. Hunter misses the shot to the body. Hunter moves away from the strike by Hakekia. Hakekia does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Hunter is trying to counter with his kicks. Hakekia with a nice calf kick. Hakekia throws a leg kick that misses. Hunter swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Hakekia blocks the body kick.
Hunter darts in and clinches Hakekia up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hunter avoids a wild elbow strike from Hakekia. Hunter gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Alika Hakekia has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hakekia throws a head punch that misses. Hakekia working aggressively here.
Hunter lands an elbow inside. Hunter blocks a body shot from Hakekia. Hunter lands an uppercut. Hunter scores with an uppercut up the middle. Hakekia tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Knees in the clinch landing for Hunter.
Hakekia is trying to break free. Hakekia goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Hakekia lands a hook that snaps the head of Hunter backwards. Hakekia misses with an elbow over the top. Hakekia pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Hunter scores with an uppercut up the middle. A nice right hand lands inside from Hunter. Hakekia swings wildly with an uppercut but Hunter uses good head movement to avoid it. Hunter lands a shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunter managing to block the knees to the body from Hakekia.

Hakekia tries to throw a body punch but Hunter avoids it by throwing Hakekia back against the cage. Hunter throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Hakekias head. Hunter pushes Hakekia back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Hakekia is rocked! Hunter lands a right hand that snaps the head of Hakekia backwards. Oh Hakekia is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Hunter lands a right hand that snaps the head of Hakekia backwards. Hunter throws a big uppercut that drops Hakekia! More strikes from Hunter and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Hakekia lies dazed against the cage as Hunter celebrates with his cornermen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Deer Hunter! A victorious Deer Hunter thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
