Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brownie Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lyoha Nagibatel!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson tries to bum rush Nagibatel with a series of wild strikes but Nagibatel uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A little jabbing left from Nagibatel on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Anderson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nagibatel defends it nicely.
Anderson displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Anderson fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Nagibatel throws out a counter right but Anderson avoids it with no problem.
Brownie Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nagibatel keeps the fight on the outside.
Anderson shoots in for a takedown but Nagibatel shows good takedown defense.

Anderson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Nagibatel is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Anderson throws a low kick but Nagibatel avoids it.

Anderson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nagibatel looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Anderson fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Anderson tries to advance to mount but Nagibatel denies him.
Nagibatel is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Anderson is controlling him well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Anderson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Nagibatel for as long as he can get away with.
Anderson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Nagibatel can do to turn this around?

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Nagibatel is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Anderson asserts his dominance and retains side control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Anderson works to advance to full mount. Nagibatel defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nagibatel holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Anderson tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Anderson wants to control but Nagibatel has made it back to half guard. Nice work.

Anderson is trying to control. Nagibatel wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Anderson has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Anderson thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Nagibatel wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Anderson.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Nagibatel has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

and Nagibatel counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Anderson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Nagibatel dodges the ground and pound from Anderson.
Anderson is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Nagibatel will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Anderson prevents Nagibatel from escaping the position.

Anderson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nagibatel keeps working.

Anderson goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Nagibatel rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Anderson's guard! Nice work there by Nagibatel!

Nagibatel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Anderson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Anderson is adopting a defensive guard.

Nagibatel stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nagibatel wants it to stay on the feet.

Nagibatel leaves Anderson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Brownie Anderson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Anderson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Nagibatel scores with a counter punch that sends Anderson to the canvas! Nagibatel smells blood - he's punishing Anderson with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Anderson has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

In defeat, Brownie Anderson stepped up to the mic, saying 'Fuck this,ill be back better'.
