Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Winston Todd (ranked 21 p4p, 28 weight class) and Willie Diggs (ranked 2 p4p, 4 weight class). Todd comes into the arena with Piano Man blaring out of the sound system. Diggs has chosen CHOSEN 1 as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Winston Todd could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Willie Diggs's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 44 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Winston Todd!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Willie Diggs!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Todd. Diggs does a little dance to reset his feet.
Diggs throws a leg kick that is checked
and Todd counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Todd throws a jab when Diggs was well out of range.
A little jabbing left from Diggs on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Todd throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Diggs counters with a nice uppercut.
Todd misses with a body punch
and Diggs counters with a solid body kick.
Todd throws a looping overhand right but Diggs ducks down to avoid it.
Diggs looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Diggs has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Diggs shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Todd gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Diggs.
Todd takes a jab right on the kisser.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Todd gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Diggs gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Todd is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Willie Diggs!
Willie Diggs is the new middleweight champion!
Willie Diggs decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
