Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marco Vera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Macho Man Randy!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Ben Hemmingworth and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vera staying out of range there.
Vera throwing a counter right hand but Randy manages to avoid it.
Randy lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Vera sprawling to the canvas. Randy follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Vera hang on?
It looks like Marco Vera has been cut.
Vera is refusing to be controlled, as Randy sits in half guard.
Randy is looking for a kimura but Vera is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Randy to get the leverage.

Vera wants to stand but Randy is controlling the position.

Randy is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Randy is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Randy wants to control from the top but Vera keeps moving.

Vera wriggles free and stands up.
Randy thuds a left hand into Vera's body.
Randy looks to land a left hand but Vera moved out of range nicely.
Randy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Vera.
Vera falls off balance throwing a combination
and Randy counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Vera swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Randy throws a hook but Vera blocks it.
Randy takes a swing at Vera's ribcage but misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Randy lands with a straight right. Vera didn't see that one coming.
A telegraphed right hand from Vera misses the target.
Randy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Vera fails with an attempt to clinch.
Randy fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Randy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Vera throwing a counter right hand but Randy manages to avoid it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Vera looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Randy jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A slow jab from Randy misses its intended target.
Vera appears to be looking for a big counter.
Vera misses the shot to the body.
Vera on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

and Vera counters with a crisp right that sends Randy to the canvas! Vera follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
