Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gothic Line (ranked 212 p4p, 326 weight class) and Anthony Wayne (ranked 26 p4p, 37 weight class). Wayne has chosen Edge Of A Revolution- Nickelback as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Leandro Rodrigues and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Line throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Wayne swings widly with a right hand
and Line counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Anthony Wayne has been cut.
Wayne connects with a right hand. Line shakes it off.
It looks like Gothic Line has been cut.
Line uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wayne.
Wayne misses with a straight left.
We've been informed that Wayne has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Wayne loads up on a big right hand but Line slips the punch.
Wayne bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Line ducks straight into an uppercut from Wayne and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Line manages to regain guard straight away.

Line takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Wayne uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Wayne just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromLine.

Line is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Wayne misses with a double jab
and Line counters with a crisp right hand that drops Wayne! Line lets Wayne back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
The cut above Anthony Wayne's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Wayne throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Line gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Wayne.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Anthony Wayne's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Anthony Wayne's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

An out of breath Gothic Line thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
