Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Riley Hatfield (ranked 1329 p4p, 876 weight class) and Damian Tonon (ranked 136 p4p, 92 weight class). Hatfield kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Cruel World- Willie Nelson. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Damian Tonon!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hatfield works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Tonon checks the leg kick nicely there.
Tonon changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
The fighters circle momentarily. Hatfield darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Hatfield walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Tonon checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Tonon looks for a takedown but Hatfield sprawls well.
Nice jab there from Tonon.
Hatfield lands a head shot.
Hatfield keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tonon scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Hatfield won't allow Tonon to pass to mount.
Hatfield wants to get back to his feet.
Hatfield manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Tonon keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hatfield tries to break free but Tonon pushes him back against the cage.

Tonon blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Hatfield is trying to break free.
Hatfield wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Hatfield swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Tonon wants a takedown but no success here.
Tonon drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hatfield pulls his leg out and moves away.
Riley Hatfield has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damian Tonon.

Hatfield throws a right hand that Tonon ducks under and follows up with a left that Tonon also avoids with ease.
Hatfield connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Hatfield lands with a right hand.
Hatfield fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tonon looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Hatfield throws a jab when Tonon was well out of range.
Hatfield moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Hatfield misses with a few strikes there.
Hatfield throws a leg kick which misses Tonon's front leg but catches the back leg as Tonon tries to avoid it.
Tonon looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Hatfield!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Hatfield pushes Tonon away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Tonon gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Hatfield tries to improve position but can't.
Hatfield wants to get back to his feet but Tonon is dominant here and he's now got Hatfield's back!
Tonon is persistently looking for the submission but Hatfield is defending it well.
Tonon looking for the rear naked choke. And he's got it! Hatfield taps!
