PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Neymar Ricardo (ranked 5477 p4p, 5872 weight class) and Neho Rozales (ranked 299 p4p, 310 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Neymar Ricardo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Neho Rozales!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Alyssa Summers and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ricardo.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Rozales has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Ricardo shoots in for a double leg but Rozales sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Rozales has taken the fight to the clinch.
