Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alex Campbell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Riccardo Isidoro!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Isidoro tests Campbell's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Riccardo Isidoro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Isidoro misses with a low kick as Campbell jumps back.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Campbell checks a leg kick.
Isidoro throws a right hand that Campbell ducks under and follows up with a left that Campbell also avoids with ease.
Isidoro swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Campbell.
Campbell takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Campbell slips a jab from Isidoro.
Isidoro misses with a lunging right hand
and Campbell holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Campbell tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Isidoro just stands there and leans against the cage.
Campbell tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Isidoro smiles and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Isidoro misses with a hook
and Campbell counters by clinching up.
Isidoro trying to stall but Campbell improves his position.
Campbell jumps guard but Isidoro turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alex Campbell. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Campbell pulls guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Campbell is on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Campbell trying to move into half guard but instead Isidoro has managed to sweep!
Isidoro stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Campbell swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Campbell keeping moving, preventing Isidoro from controlling successfully.
Campbell looking for a sweep. Not yet Campbell, not yet.
Campbell is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Isidoro rolls with it to try and escape but Campbell cranks on the arm and Isidoro is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
