Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Derrick Barkley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Manuel Silva!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Barkley throws a half hearted mid kick.
Silva changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Barkley throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Barkley keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The fight moves into the clinch position.

Silva throws a lazy right hand but Barkley sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Silva ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Barkley moves away.
Barkley appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Barkley looks to land a right hand but Silva moved out of range.
Silva throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Barkley sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Silva shoots in but Barkley avoids the takedown attempt easily.

and Barkley counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Silva fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Barkley manages to avoid it.
Silva throws a head kick but Barkley moves out of range.

and Barkley counters with a body kick that stops Silva in his tracks momentarily.

It looked like Barkley was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Silva throws an overhand right that lands on Barkley's shoulder, as Barkley tries to avoid the shot.
It looked like Barkley wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Silva ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Barkley moves away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silva fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Barkley has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

A relieved looking Manuel Silva thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
