Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Billy Conforto (ranked 23232 p4p, 1397 weight class) and Sergej Kusnemirpow (ranked 517 p4p, 154 weight class). Conforto comes to the cage accompanied by Alabama- Bishop Gunn. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Billy Conforto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sergej Kusnemirpow! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, John Roberts and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kusnemirpow looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Kusnemirpow won't allow Conforto to get back to his feet. Kusnemirpow drops back looking for a leg! Conforto is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Conforto manages to kick Kusnemirpow off! Kusnemirpow jumps back into Conforto's guard. Kusnemirpow stops Conforto from standing up. Kusnemirpow tries to free his leg and advance position but Conforto is retaining full guard. Conforto keeping moving, preventing Kusnemirpow from controlling successfully. Conforto is looking to stand up but Kusnemirpow isn't so interested in that idea. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kusnemirpow pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Conforto is keeping the position for now. Conforto is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kusnemirpow is controlling him.

Conforto stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Conforto wants it to stay on the feet. Conforto's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kusnemirpow under the eye.

Kusnemirpow looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Kusnemirpow walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Kusnemirpow slips under a jab. Kusnemirpow swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Conforto leaves Kusnemirpow with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Conforto cracks Kusnemirpow with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Conforto connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kusnemirpow shoots in and drives through. Conforto sprawls well. Billy Conforto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sergej Kusnemirpow. Conforto ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Kusnemirpow fails with a takedown attempt. Kusnemirpow shoots for a takedown but Conforto saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Kusnemirpow ducks under a wild hook from Conforto. A little jabbing left from Kusnemirpow on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Kusnemirpow slips under a jab. Kusnemirpow looks like he wants to counter punch here. Conforto is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Conforto misses with a straight left. Kusnemirpow ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Kusnemirpow looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Billy Conforto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Conforto throws a lazy right hand but Kusnemirpow sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kusnemirpow moves out of range of the body kick. Conforto misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kusnemirpow swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Conforto lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Kusnemirpow closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Conforto did well to prevent Kusnemirpow getting side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kusnemirpow is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kusnemirpow frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Conforto is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Kusnemirpow moves to back control. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Billy Conforto dominated that round. The cut man is working on Billy Conforto's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Kusnemirpow slips under a jab from Conforto. Conforto lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Conforto throws a hook but Kusnemirpow blocks it. Conforto works over Kusnemirpow's head and body with a nice combination. Kusnemirpow moves away from the strike by Conforto. Kusnemirpow shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Conforto lands with a right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Conforto throws an overhand right that lands on Kusnemirpow's shoulder, as Kusnemirpow tries to avoid the shot. Kusnemirpow shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kusnemirpow showed some decent athleticism there. This has been an exciting period of action! Kusnemirpow is pressing down on Conforto's thigh, looking to free his foot. Conforto is holding on for now.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kusnemirpow with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Kusnemirpow looking to break Conforto's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Conforto remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Kusnemirpow will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Kusnemirpow working for a choke but Conforto is defending well. Conforto is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
