Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Johnny Waldron (ranked 20835 p4p, 21446 weight class) and Dru Quick (ranked 296 p4p, 292 weight class). Quick is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Gangster's Paradise- Coolio. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 21 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnny Waldron!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dru Quick!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waldron misses with a left hand
and Quick counters with a slapping leg kick.
Waldron fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Quick looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Quick throws a leg kick but Waldron checks it.
It looked like Waldron wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Waldron throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Quick loads up on a big right hand but Waldron slips the punch.
Waldron comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Waldron lands a nice looking body kick.
Waldron fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Waldron looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Nice straight punches there by Waldron. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Waldron.
Waldron lets loose with a powerful body kick. Quick will feel that in the morning.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Waldron tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Quick was well out of range. Poor timing from Waldron.
Waldron is looking to clinch but Quick is avoiding it.

Quick drops his hands momentarily and Waldron takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Johnny Waldron seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Quick rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

Quick has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Waldron misses with a body shot.
Quick walks forward, straight into a front kick from Waldron.

Waldron takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Quick moves forwards but Waldron connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Waldron turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Waldron throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Quick walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Waldron moves out of range as Quick strikes.

Quick misses with an uppercut. Waldron saw that one coming.
Waldron feinted there with a counter leg kick.

and Waldron counters with a stiff right hand.
Waldron is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Waldron throws a shot to the body.
Quick tries to keep at a distance but Waldron has taken the fight into the clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Quick just misses with a elbow thrown towards Waldron's brow.
Waldron scores with a knee to the head.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Waldron as Quick tries to tie him up.
Waldron lands an elbow that stopped Quick in his tracks for a moment.
It looks like Dru Quick has been cut.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Waldron scores with a hook to the body. Quick takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Quick throws a leg kick but Waldron sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Waldron scores with a jab. Quick acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Waldron throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Waldron keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Waldron is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Quick can do to turn this around?

Quick throws a poor cross that misses
and Waldron counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
A body shot lands from Waldron.
Waldron lands an uppercut.
Quick is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Quick takes an elbow to the temple.
Waldron scores with a knee to the head.
Quick is rocked!
Waldron lands an elbow inside.
Quick is still on wobbly legs! Can Waldron finish him?
That's one minute gone in the round.
Waldron avoids the elbow strike from Quick, against the ropes.
Waldron cracks Quick with a big elbow, right in the eye socket! Quick drops to his knees in obvious pain! The referee starts the count but it's plainly obvious that Quick isn't going to get back to his feet. The referee counts none the less and Waldron struts around the mat, safe in the knowledge that this one is over. A big win for Waldron!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Elbows). Johnny Waldron!
