Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, The Maan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ding Ding Dong!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ding Dong darts in looking for a takedown but Maan gets double underhooks and turns Ding Dong into the cage.
Maan leaves Ding Dong with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Maan lands a jab.
Jab, jab by Maan - just one landing.
Maan lands with an overhand left.
Maan lands a really nice looking cross but Ding Dong seems unphased.
Maan circles away from the clinch attempt.
The Maan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maan slaps away a takedown attempt from Ding Dong, before circling back to the center of the mat.
The Maan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ding Ding Dong.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Oooooh!!! Maan has knocked Ding Dong down with a huge combo! Maan steps away and waves a wobbly Ding Dong back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Ding Ding Dong has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Maan scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Maan fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Maan lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ding Dong gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Maan gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). The Maan!
A very excited looking The Maan made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
In defeat, Ding Ding Dong stepped up to the mic, saying '"Everybody out there know I beat him, I controlled the fight, he was missing, I hit him plenty more times. I beat him.Let me talk something... I want to thank the whole hood who came out here. I love y'all. I did this for the hood, you know I beat that boy.'.
