Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Judas Priest (ranked 1832 p4p, 24207 weight class) and Nick Durling (ranked 103 p4p, 367 weight class). Priest comes to the cage accompanied by Jiří Procházka Battle Scream. Durling is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by BABYMETAL - KARATE. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Judas Priest!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nick Durling!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Priest closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Durling is not content to let Priest control the position.
Priest has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Durling wants to control but Priest postures up.

Priest is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Durling is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Priest tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Priest has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Durling is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Durling tries to roll over but Priest keeps him under control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Priest gets to mount! Durling was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Durling is wriggling around trying to escape.
Durling is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Priest looking to control but Durling is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Priest is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Durling is surviving well by controlling Priest's body position as best he can.
Durling tries to lock up and control but Priest gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Durling is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Priest with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Priest wants to free his trapped foot but Durling is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Priest is thwarting Durling's attempts to control the position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Durling looks to throw the jab but Priest is out of range.
Durling misses with a looping right.
A lazy left from Priest finds it's target.
Priest moves away from the strike by Durling.
Priest dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Durling takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Durling lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Priest fails with a takedown attempt.

Durling drops Priest with a huge uppercut! Priest drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Durling is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

During a confident post fight interview, Nick Durling thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
