Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, William Kidd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Abner Dukes!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kidd fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Dukes walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Kidd throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dukes stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Dukes wants to clinch.
Dukes throws a right hand that misses
and Kidd counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Dukes has his takedown stuffed
and Kidd makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Kidd ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Kidd throws a shot to the body.
Kidd with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Kidd works the jab nicely.
Dukes doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dukes goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Dukes is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Kidd throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dukes.
Kidd is looking to wear down Dukes with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Kidd looks to land a combination but Dukes avoids it well.
Dukes is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Dukes misses with a hook
and Kidd counters with a nice uppercut.
Kidd fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dukes looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Kidd swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dukes.
Kidd scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Dukes looks to score with a jab to the body but Kidd is just out of range.

Dukes takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Dukes closes the distance but Kidd moves to the side
and Kidd counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Kidd lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dukes looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Kidd scores with a hook to the body. Dukes takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Kidd pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Dukes back to the cage. Kidd follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Kidd connects with the punch.

Kidd lands with a nice body punch.
Kidd scores with a jab.
Dukes swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
It looked like Kidd was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Dukes.
Kidd is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Dukes gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Kidd pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Dukes avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kidd lands with an overhand left.
Kidd jabs Dukes to the body, keeping him at a distance.

enabling Kidd to counter with a crisp jab.
Kidd changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Dukes shoots in looking for a takedown but Kidd manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dukes's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Kidd moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Kidd lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Dukes misses with a double jab.

Kidd fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Dukes wants to clinch up but Kidd keeps it at a distance.
Kidd was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Dukes shoots in but Kidd avoids the takedown attempt easily.
William Kidd has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Abner Dukes.
Dukes tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dukes loads up on a big right hand but Kidd slips the punch.
Dukes takes a jab right on the kisser.
Kidd scores with a crisp jab that stopped Dukes in his tracks.
William Kidd is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kidd lands a jab to Dukes's midsection.
Dukes throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kidd.
Dukes takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dukes looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kidd lands an overhand right.
Dukes throws a nice looking combination but Kidd bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dukes fails in his attempt to clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dukes walks into a straight right hand from Kidd.
A jab from Dukes finds it's way through Kidd's defenses.
Dukes is trying desperately to land a takedown but Kidd is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Dukes.
Kidd connects with a single shot there.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kidd, as that shot connected.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Kidd lands a jab to Dukes's midsection.
Dukes connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Dukes has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kidd finds it's way round the side to connect with Dukes's head.
Kidd lands with a nice body punch.
Dukes lands a jab to the nose.
Kidd slaps away a takedown attempt from Dukes, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Dukes fails with an attempt to clinch.
A quick step to the side and Kidd tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kidd uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dukes.
Kidd scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Dukes doesn't manage to clinch there - Kidd circles away.
Kidd scores with a nice right hand.
Kidd lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kidd.

Dukes is rocked!

Dukes looks up at the clock. Bad move! Kidd lands a right hand from hell, dropping Dukes. Kidd pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). William Kidd!
William Kidd decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
