Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anwar Hussin (ranked 987 p4p, 1062 weight class) and Daroshev Faroshev (ranked 131 p4p, 144 weight class). Hussin comes to the cage accompanied by Shooting Stars ft. Toro y moi (Flume Cover). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Anwar Hussin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Daroshev Faroshev!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jonathan Paton and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Faroshev.
We've been hearing reports that Hussin has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Faroshev throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Faroshev throws a poor cross that misses

and Hussin counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Faroshev!
Faroshev looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hussin prevents Faroshev from escaping the position.

Hussin looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Hussin throws a strike aimed at the side of Faroshev's head but Faroshev avoids it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Faroshev tries to escape but Hussin is in control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hussin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Faroshev keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Faroshev is in all sorts of trouble here.

Faroshev wants to control but Hussin is having none of it.
Faroshev's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Hussin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Faroshev holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Hussin tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Faroshev tries to reverse the position but Hussin maintains control.
Faroshev is still trying to improve position.

Hussin looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Faroshev avoids a series of strikes thrown by Hussin.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hussin connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Faroshev is looking to get to half guard.

The referee warns Faroshev that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Hussin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Hussin wants to control from the top but Faroshev keeps moving.
Hussin is in close to Faroshev's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Faroshev utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Faroshev controls Hussin momentarily but Hussin frees himself.
Faroshev wants to sweep but no luck.
Faroshev keeping moving, preventing Hussin from controlling successfully.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Donk. Faroshev catches Hussin right on the button with a cross.

It looks like Anwar Hussin has been cut.
Hussin moves out of range as Faroshev strikes.
Hussin is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Faroshev.
Faroshev lands a body shot.
Nice body punch from Faroshev.
Hussin takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Hussin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Faroshev uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hussin has time to react.

Hussin rushes Faroshev and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Faroshev makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Faroshev wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hussin has him pressed against the cage.
Faroshev is struggling to control the position.
Hussin keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Faroshev's efforts to push away.
Faroshev lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Faroshev wants to break the clinch but can't.
Hussin prevents Faroshev from breaking the clinch.
Faroshev is trying to push Hussin away but Hussin has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Faroshev tries to break free but Hussin pushes him back against the cage.
Hussin tries for a takedown. No joy.
Hussin is looking to take this one to the mat.
Faroshev lands a body shot.
Faroshev wants to get back to striking at distance but Hussin won't allow it.
Faroshev controlling the action here for a moment.

Faroshev escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Faroshev lands with a shot to the body.
Faroshev lands with an overhand left.

Faroshev cracks Hussin with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Hussin looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Faroshev finish him?

Hussin is rocked!
Faroshev fakes the body blow, causing Hussin to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Hussin goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Daroshev Faroshev!
