The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nightmare jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Nightmare throws a hook to the side of Mineiro's head but Mineiro sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Nightmare ducks straight into an uppercut from Mineiro and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Nightmare manages to regain guard straight away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nightmare has his hands on Mineiro's head, controlling the position.

Mineiro forces his way into half guard.
Nightmare knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mineiro on the ground.

Mineiro is working for a kimura but Nightmare is defending it quite comfortably.
Nightmare seems to have got his legs back now.
Nightmare is positioning himself well to prevent Mineiro advancing to mount.
Nightmare tries to get to full guard but Mineiro has control of the leg.

Mineiro has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Nightmare ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mineiro moves away.
Mineiro looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Mineiro takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Nightmare is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mineiro.

Nightmare connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Nightmare cracks Mineiro with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Mineiro dives in and grabs Nightmare's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nightmare pushes down on Mineiro's head and hops out.
Nightmare lands a really nice looking cross but Mineiro seems unphased.
Nice straight punches there by Nightmare. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Nightmare.

It seemed like Mineiro was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Mineiro gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Nightmare gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
