Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between D.D Panda (ranked 1157 p4p, 755 weight class) and Masa Saitoh (ranked 153 p4p, 104 weight class). Masa Saitoh will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 19 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, D.D Panda! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Masa Saitoh! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Columbo Gatti and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Panda is defended easily by Saitoh. Panda scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Panda cracks Saitoh with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Saitoh misses with a straight left. Panda falls off balance throwing a combination
and Saitoh connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like D.D Panda has been cut. Panda throws out a token jab with nothing on it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Saitoh lands a nice shot that snaps Panda's head back.
Panda looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Panda avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Panda swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Saitoh misses with a looping right. Panda drops down looking for a counter takedown but Saitoh sprawls and moves away. Saitoh lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Panda tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's one minute gone in the round. Saitoh scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Saitoh lands with a good body shot. Saitoh ducks down and throws a hook to the body. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Saitoh has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Panda closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Saitoh did well to prevent Panda getting side control. Saitoh wants to get back to full guard. Saitoh is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Saitoh keeping hold of Panda's head, controlling as best he can. The fighters are battling for position here. Saitoh manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Saitoh is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Saitoh is looking to sweep but instead, Panda has passed into half guard.
Saitoh tries to roll over but Panda keeps him under control. Saitoh manages to get to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Saitoh looking to hit a scissor sweep but Panda is one step ahead there. Saitoh wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Panda works a leg free and moves into half guard. Panda seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Saitoh does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Panda prevents Saitoh from improving his position. Saitoh manages to get to full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Masa Saitoh will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on D.D Panda's cut. That's time! Panda's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. A cross from Panda lands. Saitoh jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Panda slips a jab from Saitoh. Good exchange - Saitoh coming out on top.
D.D Panda's cut is getting worse. Saitoh sizes up Panda with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Saitoh misses the jab. Saitoh takes a swing at Panda's ribcage but misses. Panda keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Saitoh. Saitoh bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Saitoh is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Saitoh lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
D.D Panda's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Saitoh throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Masa Saitoh seems to be getting the better of the standup. Saitoh throws a jab when Panda was well out of range. Panda takes a swing at Saitoh's ribcage but misses. Panda looks to land a right hand but Saitoh moved out of range. Panda shoots in but Saitoh avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Excellent takedown into side control there by Panda. Who's going to make the next move? Panda working away. A lull in the action here as Panda stalls from top position. D.D Panda overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Saitoh is trying to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Panda is looking to take a break and control but Saitoh is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Panda is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Saitoh is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Panda happy to just control the position for now.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big right from Saitoh misses. Panda drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Donk. Panda catches Saitoh right on the button with a cross. Saitoh works the jab nicely.
Jeez, D.D Panda's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Panda throws a right hand that misses
enabling Saitoh to counter with a crisp jab.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at D.D Panda's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Masa Saitoh! A victorious Masa Saitoh thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
