Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 17 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jay Porter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Léopold Béliveau!
The judges for this bout are Roosa J�rvil�inen, Marco Blurstr�m and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Béliveau moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Porter looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A big left from Porter misses.
Porter throws a sloppy head kick
and Béliveau counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Béliveau on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Porter throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Béliveau sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Porter throws a hook but Béliveau blocks it.
Béliveau uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Porter.
Béliveau steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Porter.
Porter dips to his left and cracks Béliveau with an uppercut!
Porter misses with an uppercut
and Béliveau counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Béliveau slips a jab and a cross from Porter.
A telegraphed right hand from Porter misses the target.
Béliveau lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Porter shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting Béliveau counter with a right hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Porter tries to clinch but Béliveau moves away
and Béliveau cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Porter looks to land a combination but Béliveau avoids it well.
Porter throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Béliveau scores with a counter punch that sends Porter to the canvas! Béliveau smells blood - he's punishing Porter with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Porter has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Léopold Béliveau!
