Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bill Smif (ranked 1028 p4p, 1713 weight class) and Jah Kid (ranked 18 p4p, 103 weight class). Smif comes into the arena with Playtime blaring out of the sound system. Kid is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Walk - Pantera. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bill Smif!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jah Kid!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Smif on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
A jab from Kid misses.
Smif misses with a right hand
and Kid counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Kid tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Smif defends well and Kid ends up having to push Smif into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Smif swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Kid moves out of range of the strikes.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Smif takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smif works Kid's body with a nice hook.
The crowd cheers as Kid lands an impressive looking overhand right. Smif doesn't seem phased though.

Kid swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Smif looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jah Kid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smif throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kid throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Smif to counter with a crisp jab.
Kid misses with a right hand
and Kid takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kid looks to land a right hand but Smif moved out of range.
Smif throwing a counter right hand but Kid manages to avoid it.

Kid throws an off balance right hand
and Smif connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Smif misses with an uppercut. Kid saw that one coming.
Smif looks to land a right hand but Kid moved out of range.
Kid connects with a body shot.
Smif stuns Kid with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Kid scores with a sloppy right hand. Smif should have avoided that one.

Kid throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kid closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Smif's guard.
Smif wants to sweep but no luck.
Kid passes into half guard.
Smif is trying to maintain the position but Kid is very close to passing his half guard.
Kid performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kid has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Smif defend it? Kid steps over the head and cranks it - Smif is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Kid!

A relieved looking Jah Kid thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
