Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bigi Boi Chai (ranked 326 p4p, 679 weight class) and Bob Bronte (ranked 24 p4p, 39 weight class). Chai comes to the cage accompanied by Dirt. Bronte is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Buffalo Charge by Dub Phizix and Strategy. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Bigi Boi Chai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bob Bronte!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Chai.
A slow jab from Bronte misses its intended target.
Chai misses with a looping left.
Bronte looks like he wants to counter punch here.
We've been told by Chai's head coaches at Master Chai's Dojo that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Bronte throws a body shot but no joy.
Chai was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Chai thows a body kick. Bronte tries to catch it but that hurt him.

and Bronte counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Bronte has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Chai throws a hook to the side of Bronte's head but Bronte sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Bronte feints and as Chai raises his hands in defense, Bronte changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chai suckers Bronte into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Chai is now in Bronte's guard!

Bronte lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Bronte clinches up with Chai and pushes him back against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bronte is trying to trip Chai. He has hold of a leg but Chai is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Bronte persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Bronte postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Chai is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bronte, into his guard.

Bronte had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Chai defends it easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Chai stays in close to Bronte's body and controls the position.

Bronte wants to hit a sweep here but Chai passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Bronte there!

Bronte has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Chai is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Bronte is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Chai pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Bronte changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Chai fights it off and pushes away nicely.
