Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marski Martola (ranked 525 p4p, 799 weight class) and Dick Niaz (ranked 63 p4p, 89 weight class). Marski Martola had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marski Martola!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dick Niaz!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niaz darts in and clinches Martola up against the cage.

The fight stays on the outside here - Niaz looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Martola looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Niaz with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Niaz had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Martola defends it easily.

Niaz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Martola doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Martola manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Niaz has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Martola should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Niaz has tightened it up now! Martola should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
