Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kristoph Kringle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pate Ro!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kringle tries to clinch up.
Ro wants to clinch up but Kringle keeps it at a distance.
Ro throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kringle.
Kringle swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Ro scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

It looks like Kristoph Kringle has been cut.
Kringle tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Ro is able to avoid easily.
Kringle tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ro was well out of range. Poor timing from Kringle.
Ro displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kringle throws out the jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kringle gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Kringle can't find room to land a body shot as Ro controls the action.
Kringle doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Kringle pushes Ro back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Ro goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Kringle breaks from the clinch.

Ro throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A slapping body kick lands there for Ro.
Kringle tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ro manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Kringle gets a clinch.
Kringle goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
A short body shot lands from Ro as the two fighters clinch.
Ro tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kringle's elbow.
Ro tries to work over Kringle's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Ro throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kringles head.
Still in the clinch, Ro scores with a nice short uppercut.
Kringle misses with a hook to the ribs.
Ro struggles to land a body shot inside as Kringle controls his hands.
Kringle misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Ro throws a punch but it's blocked by Kringle.

Kringle manages to break the clinch.
Ro moves out of range as Kringle strikes.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ro misses with a hook. Kringle ducked under it nicely.
Ro catches Kringle with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Kringle closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ro throws a lazy right hand but Kringle sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kringle throws a counter high kick but Ro was just alert enough to avoid it.
Kringle slips under a jab from Ro.
Ro getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Kristoph Kringle's cut is getting worse.
Ro throws a chopping leg kick but Kringle manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Ro misses with a left hand
and Kringle connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kringle lands a nice looking body kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ro takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kringle lands with a slapping head kick.
Ro throws a jab but it's blocked by Kringle.
Ro throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ro misses with a body shot.
Ro uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kringle.
Ro wants to counter the offense by Kringle and move into the clinch position.
Ro throws a predictable looking body shot
and Ro takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Pate Ro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kringle misses with a body kick.
A left lands for Ro.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ro lands a lovely overhand right.

Kristoph Kringle's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Kringle drops Ro with a beautiful combination! Ro stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kringle is looking for the KO!

Ro is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kringle lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Ro up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Kringle from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Ro's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kristoph Kringle!
Kristoph Kringle seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
