Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Spong (ranked 221 p4p, 526 weight class) and Sheikh Mahmut (ranked 30 p4p, 66 weight class). Sheikh Mahmut will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Daniel Spong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sheikh Mahmut!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spong throws out a powerful jab.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Spong accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Spong takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Spong throws a hook to the side of Mahmut's head but Mahmut sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Mahmut feints with a jab and clips Spong right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Spong is sent crashing into the canvas and Mahmut leaps in for the kill! Spong tries to get to his feet but Mahmut is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Spong is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sheikh Mahmut!
Sheikh Mahmut made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'There was something about that guys face, you just wanted to beat the hell out of it. He can't get any uglier so why not. Praise Allah Akbar!!!!'.
