Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Fisher (ranked 298 p4p, 635 weight class) and Mengrire Krenakore (ranked 23 p4p, 45 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 18 - 6 - 1, fighting out of New York, John Fisher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 20 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mengrire Krenakore! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krenakore misses with a wild combination.
Fisher looks to score with a jab to the body but Krenakore is just out of range. Krenakore throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Fisher fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Krenakore manages to avoid it. Fisher misses with a left hand and Krenakore cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Krenakore chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Fisher can pounce on him.
John Fisher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A big left from Krenakore misses. Fisher uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Krenakore.
Fisher is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Fisher staying out of range there. Krenakore lands a nice looking body shot.
Fisher jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Fisher moves away from the strike by Krenakore. Fisher misses with an uppercut. Krenakore saw that one coming. Krenakore misses with a straight left. Fisher moves out of range as Krenakore strikes. Fisher throws a shot from downtown. Krenakore moves away and avoids it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Krenakore just misses with a punch to the body.
A counter left hand to the body from Fisher misses its target. Fisher throws out a loose jab but Krenakore uses good head movement to avoid it. Krenakore throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fisher fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Krenakore manages to avoid it. Krenakore throws a jab but it's blocked by Fisher. Krenakore throws a hook to the side of Fisher's head but Fisher sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Fisher scores with a jab to the body. Krenakore throws a lazy right hand but Fisher sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Fisher throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Krenakore moves into range and connects with a jab. We've been told by Fisher's head coaches at Outlaw MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Fisher closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Fisher throws a good cross that connects.
Fisher avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Krenakore misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fisher.

Krenakore needs to keep his hands up - Fisher had a free shot at his head there. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Krenakore takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! A big right from Krenakore misses. Fisher blocks a jab. Fisher misses with a body shot.

Krenakore doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Fisher scores with a decent looking hook.
It looks like Mengrire Krenakore has been cut. Nice uppercut there from Fisher. Fisher uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Krenakore. Fisher swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Fisher stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Fisher loads up on a big right hand but Krenakore slips the punch. Fisher keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Krenakore is rocked! Krenakore lands with a good body shot. Krenakore is still on wobbly legs! Can Fisher finish him? Fisher avoids the body shot from Krenakore.
Krenakore gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Fisher gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Fisher! John Fisher seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
