Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mabahong Tae (ranked 2807 p4p, 2054 weight class) and Matthew Diggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diggs has chosen 1017 freestyle as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mabahong Tae!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Matthew Diggs!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Darius Henderson and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tae moves into the clinch successfully.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Diggs.

Diggs ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Diggs no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Diggs working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tae doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tae manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Tae got a little sloppy there for a moment and Diggs has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tae has managed to get both his arms back between Diggs's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tae is looking to advance position but Diggs has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tae is trying desperately to improve position.

Diggs has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Tae uses from the top position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mabahong Tae will probably get the nod.
