Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jerry Hammerstein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Freaky George!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Illya Tyunina and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from George.
Hammerstein throws a sloppy head kick and George moves out of range easily.
Hammerstein lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as George backs up against the cage.
Hammerstein looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
George uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Hammerstein is rocked!
George is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Hammerstein flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Hammerstein is out cold! George holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
