Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Huntti Mfer (ranked 379 p4p, 3279 weight class) and Gatimu Wanjiku (ranked 54 p4p, 316 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Huntti Mfer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gatimu Wanjiku! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Ivan Kurochkin and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wanjiku lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Wanjiku has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Mfer avoids a punch combination nicely.
An attempted straight right counter from Mfer misses the target. Mfer ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Mfer throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Mfer swings for the body but Wanjiku moves out of range.
Mfer misses with an uppercut. Wanjiku saw that one coming. Mfer is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wanjiku. Wanjiku displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mfer throws out the jab. Wanjiku misses the shot to the body. Wanjiku throws an overhand right that lands on Mfer's shoulder, as Mfer tries to avoid the shot. Wanjiku connects with a solid leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mfer looks to land a right hand but Wanjiku moved out of range. Mfer is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wanjiku. Wanjiku scores with a jab to the head.

That's one minute gone in the round. A lazy left from Mfer finds it's target. Mfer lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Wanjiku at a distance.
A big left from Wanjiku misses. Wanjiku misses with a body shot.
Mfer darts in trying to clinch letting Wanjiku counter with a right hand. Mfer misses with a straight right. Mfer connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. That kick from Wanjiku tenderised Mfer's leg. Mfer is trying to keep his angry face on. Wanjiku throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Mfer lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Wanjiku at a distance.
Wanjiku misses with an uppercut
and Mfer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Wanjiku is rocked! Mfer drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Wanjiku right on the button. Wanjiku goes down! Mfer follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Mfer gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Huntti Mfer! A pretty intense looking Huntti Mfer took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
