And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Benji Bonanno!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonanno throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Plutarque.
Plutarque takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Bonanno lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Plutarque is rocked!
Plutarque fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bonanno closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Plutarque! Bonanno dives in looking to finish! Plutarque is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Benji Bonanno!
After winning the bout, Benji Bonanno thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
