Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Somrak Khamsing (ranked 3924 p4p, 25356 weight class) and Deshaun Prince (ranked 406 p4p, 511 weight class). Khamsing comes into the arena with Wai khru ram muay blaring out of the sound system. Somrak Khamsing could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Deshaun Prince's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khamsing throws a head kick but Prince moves out of range.
Khamsing looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Khamsing bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Prince throws a leg kick
and Khamsing counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Prince takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Prince attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
We've been told by Khamsing's head coaches at Shut Up & Train! that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Khamsing throws a sloppy head kick and Prince moves out of range easily.
Prince will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Deshaun Prince seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Prince lands a nice shot that snaps Khamsing's head back.
Prince has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Prince throws a lazy uppercut
and Khamsing counters with a low kick, right behind Prince 's knee.

and Khamsing counters with a head kick that drops Prince to the mat! Prince scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
