Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alejandro Laguera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 22 - 2, fighting out of New York, Robert Grandis!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laguera with a nice calf kick.
Laguera lands a head shot.
Laguera misses with the combination.
Grandis on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Laguera swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Laguera will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Laguera dodges the punch combination from Grandis.

Nice uppercut lands for Laguera. That snapped Grandis's head back.

Grandis walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Laguera looks to throw the jab but Grandis is out of range.
Laguera blocks a head kick by Grandis.
Laguera lands with an overhand left.
Laguera misses with an uppercut.
Grandis fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Laguera on the side of the head.
Laguera avoids the head kick by Grandis.
We've been informed that Grandis has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Grandis misses with a low kick.
Laguera keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Grandis.
Laguera moves out of range of the body kick.
Laguera was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Laguera circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Grandis to the canvas! Grandis doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Laguera keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
