Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Donovan Sharpe (ranked 1161 p4p, 3186 weight class) and Mehdi Kanaani (ranked 158 p4p, 349 weight class). Kanaani is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dr. Dre ft. Snoop Dogg - Nuthin' But A G Thang. Mehdi Kanaani has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 22 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mehdi Kanaani!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kanaani thows a left - swing and a miss!
Kanaani throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Sharpe has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kanaani finds it's way round the side to connect with Sharpe's head.

Kanaani is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Sharpe scores with a couple of nice shots.
