The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Posey takes the fight into the clinch.

Cartwright is trying to maintain a safe position but Posey gets an underhook and turns Cartwright into the cage.

Cartwright tries to break the clinch but Posey is controlling the position.

Posey throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Posey cracks Cartwright with a nice body shot.
Cartwright's coach down at Special Ops N7 Training was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Cartwright's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Posey lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Cartwright backwards.
Posey creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Cartwright's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Cartwright drops to his knees and Posey pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Buster Posey !
Buster Posey was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
In defeat, Conrad Cartwright stepped up to the mic, saying 'The Cartwright Curse strikes again! The Powers that be just won't allow it apparently.'.
