Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Hunt (ranked 734 p4p, 1402 weight class) and Alpharuis Omegon (ranked 87 p4p, 188 weight class). Omegon has chosen Sabaton-Saboteur as his entrance music. James Hunt has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 16 - 1, fighting out of London, James Hunt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alpharuis Omegon !
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Atkins and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Omegon lands a jab to the head.
Donk. Omegon catches Hunt right on the button with a cross.
Omegon swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hunt.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hunt.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Hunt enables Omegon to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hunt manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Hunt uses the cage to get back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hunt takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Omegon throws a jab when Hunt was well out of range.
Hunt misses with an uppercut. Omegon saw that one coming.
Omegon on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Hunt lands with a shot to the body.
Hunt avoids the body shot from Omegon .
Hunt slips under a jab.
Hunt scores with a shot to the body.
A swing and a miss from Omegon .
Hunt throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Omegon fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Omegon throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hunt on the side of the head.

Hunt loads up on a big right hand but Omegon slips the punch.
Omegon tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Omegon lands a really nice looking cross but Hunt seems unphased.
Omegon tests Hunt's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hunt drops his hands momentarily and Omegon takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Omegon throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hunt sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hunt swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Omegon misses with a hook
and Omegon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Alpharuis Omegon has been cut.
Omegon throws a jab when Hunt was well out of range.
Omegon closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Omegon looks to throw the jab but Hunt is out of range.
Omegon throws the left hand but Hunt avoids the punch easily.
Omegon rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hunt connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Omegon is defended easily by Hunt.
Alpharuis Omegon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Omegon bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Hunt. Omegon shrugs it off though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Omegon is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Hunt had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Hunt throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Omegon sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Omegon missing with a left hand there. Hunt was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Hunt takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Hunt connects with a right hand. Omegon shakes it off.

Hunt throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hunt. Omegon does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Hunt counters with a nice uppercut.

Omegon throws an off balance right hand
and Hunt counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nice uppercut lands for Hunt. That snapped Omegon 's head back.
Omegon is rocked!
Omegon throws a hook but Hunt avoids it easily.
Omegon is still on wobbly legs! Can Hunt finish him?
Hunt avoids the body shot from Omegon .
Omegon seems to have recovered his senses.
Omegon fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Hunt throws a body shot but no joy.
Hunt moves into the clinch successfully.
Nice body punch from Hunt.
Omegon looks winded!
Hunt pushes Omegon back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Hunt tries to throw a body punch but Omegon avoids it by throwing Hunt back against the cage.
Hunt presses Omegon against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Hunt digs a right hand into Omegon 's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Omegon 's gas tank.
Hunt digs a right hand underneath Omegon 's ribcage. Omegon let out a lung full of air as it connected.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A left hand lands to the body for Hunt.
Hunt makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Hunt works on Omegon 's body with a couple of short punches.
A head punch on the inside from Hunt fails to land.
A nice right hand lands inside from Hunt.
Hunt lands a big right hand that drops Omegon ! The killer instinct kicks in and Hunt finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Hunt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Hunt!
In his post fight interview, James Hunt started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
