Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Giggle Valentine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 24 - 0, fighting out of London, Bartlomiej Jan!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Valentine misses its intended target.
Jan misses with a takedown attempt
and Valentine counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Valentine wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Jan postures up.
Valentine being controlled here, momentarily.
Jan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Valentine swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Valentine pulls Jan in close to prevent any damage.
Valentine will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jan not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Valentine is pulling down on Jan's head to control his posture.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Jan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jan throws a lazy head kick
and Valentine counters with a straight right hand.
Jan tries to clinch but Valentine moves out of range.
Valentine appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Valentine gets caught napping as Jan dives in and scores a takedown. Valentine manages to retain guard.
Valentine is pulling down on Jan's head. It's preventing any offense from Jan, at least for the moment.

Valentine can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jan controls the pace.
Jan loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Jan is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Valentine seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Giggle Valentine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bartlomiej Jan.

Jan dives in and grabs Valentine's left leg, looking for a takedown. Valentine pushes down on Jan's head and hops out.
Jan shoots for a double leg takedown but Valentine sprawls well. He's pushed Jan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Valentine lands a big head kick that sends Jan tumbling to the mat! Valentine takes a step backwards and waves Jan back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Jan is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jan moves to clinch but Valentine breaks away
and Valentine scores with a counter punch that sends Jan to the canvas! Valentine smells blood - he's punishing Jan with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Jan has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Giggle Valentine!
