Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Willy McCoy (ranked 1378 p4p, 1522 weight class) and Stevie Janowski (ranked 180 p4p, 198 weight class). McCoy kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is You Don't Mess Around With Jim. Janowski has chosen Going Down as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Bruno Lombardi and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCoy ducks under a wild hook from Janowski.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Janowski throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

McCoy shoots in for a takedown but Janowski shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Janowski throws an overhand right that lands on McCoy's shoulder, as McCoy tries to avoid the shot.
It looked like McCoy wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether McCoy might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

It looks like Stevie Janowski has been cut.
A big shot lands for McCoy! That's hurt Janowski! Will he recover? McCoy fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
