Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ranganathan Iyer (ranked 4211 p4p, 4638 weight class) and Owen Brown (ranked 421 p4p, 443 weight class). Brown has chosen Tupac - F*ck All Ya'll as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Owen Brown!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Reed Andrews and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Iyer closes the distance and clinches.
Brown looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Brown tries to throw a body punch but Iyer avoids it by throwing Brown back against the cage.
Brown lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Brown tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Iyer tries to pull guard but Brown won't allow it.
Iyer blocks an uppercut.

Iyer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Iyer dodges the punch combination from Brown.
Iyer lands a head kick. Brown smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brown takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Iyer drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Brown cracks Iyer with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Brown throws a right and a left that Iyer avoids nicely.
Iyer closes the distance and clinches up with Brown, looking for a takedown. Iyer pushes Brown against the cage but Brown circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

We've been told by Iyer's head coaches at Special Ops N7 Training that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
No luck for Iyer with that takedown attempt.
Brown swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Brown cracks Iyer with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Iyer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Brown darts in and clinches Iyer up against the cage.

Brown throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Iyers head.

Brown can't find room to land a body shot as Iyer controls the action.

Brown digs a right hand underneath Iyer's ribcage. Iyer let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Brown throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Brown cracks Iyer with a nice body shot.
Brown tries to work over Iyer's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Iyer stops a takedown attempt from Brown.
Brown prevents Iyer from breaking the clinch.
Brown lands on the inside with an uppercut.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Brown moves in close and cracks Iyer with a massive right hand! Iyer, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Brown!

A relieved looking Owen Brown thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
