Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Magnus Thorgard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pallas Anttonen!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anttonen misses with a left hand
and Thorgard counters with a two punch combo.
Anttonen chopping away at his opponent's legs.
An inside leg kick lands from Anttonen.
Thorgard takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Pallas Anttonen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thorgard swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Anttonen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Thorgard stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

It looked like Thorgard was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Anttonen looks to land a combination but Thorgard avoids it well.
Thorgard on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Anttonen buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Thorgard fails to land the takedown.
Thorgard bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Anttonen's head.
Thorgard swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That kick from Anttonen tenderised Thorgard's leg. Thorgard is trying to keep his angry face on.
Thorgard tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Anttonen defends well and Thorgard ends up having to push Anttonen into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Anttonen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Thorgard has been working on his balance at Tokyo All-Stars, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Anttonen.

Thorgard is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

It looked like Thorgard wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Anttonen dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Thorgard. That did some damage!

Anttonen uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
