Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between William Kidd (ranked 3507 p4p, 25344 weight class) and Abner Dukes (ranked 371 p4p, 542 weight class). Kidd comes to the cage accompanied by Hoist The Colours. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, William Kidd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Abner Dukes!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dukes tries a head kick but it misses.
Dukes takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Kidd lands a right hook to the body.
Kidd shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Dukes eats them both and turns towards Kidd to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Dukes takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Dukes misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Dukes tries a head kick but it misses.
Kidd stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kidd wants it to stay on the feet.
Dukes has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kidd blocks a head kick by Dukes.
Kidd appears to be looking for a big counter.
Dukes shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kidd sprawls well. Kidd wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dukes gets slowly back to his feet.
William Kidd has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Abner Dukes.
Kidd lands a jab to Dukes's midsection.
Kidd has been working on his boxing with his coaches at 3Band MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Dukes takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kidd fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dukes looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kidd lands with a shot to the body.
Kidd lands a jab.
Dukes ducks right into an uppercut from Kidd.
Kidd moves out of range of the strikes.
Kidd is looking for a counter combo.
Kidd lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Dukes misses with a two punch combination.
Kidd avoids the head kick by Dukes.
Kidd closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Dukes throws a right hand that Kidd ducks under and follows up with a left that Kidd also avoids with ease.
As Dukes looks to move away, Kidd throws a big counter combo but Dukes just gets out of the way.
Kidd is looking to wear down Dukes with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Dukes looks winded!
Dukes gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Dukes takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kidd connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dukes's hands.
Kidd digs a good body shot into Dukes's ribs.
Kidd swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kidd lands a nice shot to the body.
Kidd scores with a jab to the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kidd wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Kidd scores with a three punch combo!
Dukes is rocked!
The fighters circle momentarily. Kidd darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Dukes is still on wobbly legs! Can Kidd finish him?
Kidd drops Dukes with a straight right hand, right on the button! Kidd follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). William Kidd!
