Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josie Saltzman (ranked 1977 p4p, 2401 weight class) and Sean Dickinson (ranked 0 p4p, 268 weight class). Dickinson has chosen Resurrection - Chris Travis as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Josie Saltzman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sean Dickinson!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saltzman looks to clinch
and Dickinson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Saltzman tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
A punch combination from Saltzman misses.
As Saltzman backs off Dickinson throws a huge counter combo but Saltzman manages to avoid it all.
Dickinson lands with a cross.
Saltzman shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Dickinson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Saltzman doesn't manage to clinch there - Dickinson circles away.
Dickinson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Saltzman's head backwards.

It looks like Josie Saltzman has been cut.
Saltzman tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dickinson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A countering left hand to the body from Dickinson misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Saltzman tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Saltzman takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Dickinson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Dickinson.

Saltzman slips under a jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dickinson. Saltzman does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sean Dickinson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Saltzman connects with a jab.

Saltzman looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Dickinson looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Dickinson seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Saltzman has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dickinson is proving hard to escape from.
Dickinson is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Saltzman dives into side control.
Dickinson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Saltzman wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dickinson tries to escape but Saltzman is in control.
Dickinson is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.
Dickinson is looking for a sweep.
Dickinson is pushing Saltzman's head away, looking to escape. Saltzman manages to hold on to the position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dickinson bucks up and tries to throw Saltzman off but instead Saltzman has got his back!
Dickinson tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Saltzman throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Dickinson because Saltzman loaded up on that one.
Dickinson sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Dickinson is trying to stand back up but Saltzman is controlling him

Dickinson is defending against the submission attempts here by Saltzman.
Saltzman is pressing down on Dickinson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Dickinson is holding on for now.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Saltzman prevents Dickinson from improving his position.
Dickinson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Saltzman is working away from the top position though.

Dickinson kicks off Saltzman and gets to his feet.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Dickinson misses with a body shot.
Dickinson throws a series of strikes that have Saltzman backpedaling.
Saltzman shoots in looking for a takedown. Dickinson tries to sprawl out of it but Saltzman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dickinson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Dickinson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

A left and a right from Dickinson both land. Nice combination.
Saltzman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dickinson as he jumps to the side.

Dickinson manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Saltzman keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dickinson lands a hook to the side of the head.

Dickinson manages to break the clinch.
Dickinson moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Dickinson lands with a slapping head kick.
Saltzman shoots for a double leg takedown but Dickinson sprawls well. He's pushed Saltzman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Saltzman looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dickinson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Saltzman darts in looking for a takedown but Dickinson gets double underhooks and turns Saltzman into the cage.

Dickinson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Dickinson counters with a series of strikes. Saltzman will be more careful next time no doubt.

Saltzman bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Dickinson lands a nice looking body kick.
Dickinson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Sloppy strikes from Dickinson. Those never looked like landing.

Dickinson has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Dickinson lands with a slapping head kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Saltzman throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Dickinson counter with a right hand.

Dickinson has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Saltzman shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Dickinson eats them both and turns towards Saltzman to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Dickinson lands a big head kick that sends Saltzman tumbling to the mat! Dickinson takes a step backwards and waves Saltzman back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Saltzman gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Dickinson scores with a counter punch that sends Saltzman to the canvas! Dickinson smells blood - he's punishing Saltzman with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Saltzman has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sean Dickinson!
Sean Dickinson looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'I beat this bum . Now give me another bum'.
