Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tiago Tomate (ranked 395 p4p, 432 weight class) and Tam Yu Tai (ranked 53 p4p, 60 weight class). Tomate comes to the cage accompanied by “Danger! High Voltage”, by Electric Six. Yu Tai has chosen Invincible Pole Fighter as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Yu Tai.
Yu Tai fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Tiago Tomate seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Yu Tai counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Yu Tai keeps Tomate at a distance using the push kick.
Yu Tai steps in with a hook that catches Tomate right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Yu Tai follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Tomate looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tam Yu Tai!
After winning the bout, Tam Yu Tai thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
