Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Walter Wiener (ranked 1864 p4p, 1541 weight class) and Malachi Lawrence (ranked 229 p4p, 198 weight class). Lawrence has chosen The All Mighty as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 24 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walter Wiener! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 31 - 27 - 0, fighting out of New York, Malachi Lawrence! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wiener throws a head kick that misses and Lawrence counters with a single leg into guard. Wiener didn't expect that. Lawrence distracts Wiener with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Lawrence has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Lawrence trying to control but Wiener is working from the bottom. Lawrence lands a couple of elbows. Lawrence lands a couple of elbows. Lawrence landing some decent shots from guard. Lawrence slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Wiener is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Lawrence asserts his dominance and retains side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wiener stops Lawrence from passing to mount. Wiener is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Lawrence is controlling him well. Wiener on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Wiener tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lawrence in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Lawrence postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Lawrence cracks Wiener with an elbow. That is naaassty. Wiener is trying to get back to his feet. Wiener wants to get back to his feet but Lawrence is dominant here and he's now got Wiener's back! Lawrence is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Wiener won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Lawrence off his unconscious opponent!
