Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ruslan Muzhaiev!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helmsley throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Muzhaiev closes the distance and clinches up with Helmsley, looking for a takedown. Muzhaiev pushes Helmsley against the ropes but Helmsley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Helmsley has taken the fight to the clinch.
Muzhaiev has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Helmsley is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Muzhaiev has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Helmsley plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Muzhaiev to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Muzhaiev just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
