Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Piercer (ranked 2188 p4p, 2533 weight class) and Menes Kai (ranked 219 p4p, 253 weight class). Kai has chosen The Astronaut - Jin as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Piercer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Menes Kai!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kai keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kai throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Piercer sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A head kick misses from Kai.
Piercer misses with a straight left.
Menes Kai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kai digs a good body shot into Piercer's ribs.
Piercer tries to land a leg kick but Kai saw it coming and moves away.
Kai takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Kai has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kai lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Piercer has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Piercer and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kai crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Piercer - the referee stops the clock and Kai gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Piercer. Kai manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kai gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Piercer gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Kai is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Piercer!
A very excited looking John Piercer rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
