Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Daud Yordan (ranked 264 p4p, 611 weight class) and Jesse-James Hopson (ranked 23 p4p, 51 weight class). Hopson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Home among the gumtrees. kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jesse-James Hopson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hopson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Yordan did well to prevent Hopson getting side control.
Yordan pushes Hopson off looking to stand but Hopson dives back in and keeps control.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hopson lands a nice short elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hopson wants to take a breather but Yordan is having none of it.
