Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jarrod Beard (ranked 48 p4p, 37 weight class) and Kurt Zweihander (ranked 3 p4p, 2 weight class). Beard comes to the cage accompanied by Ladies Love Country Boys - Trace Adkins. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jarrod Beard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kurt Zweihander!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Phil Schofield and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beard missing with a left hand there. Zweihander was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Zweihander jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Zweihander throws a nice inside leg kick.
Beard fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Beard tries for a takedown but Zweihander circles away easily
and Zweihander counters with a head kick that drops Beard to the mat! Beard scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Beard scores with a jab to the body.
Zweihander lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Beard crumples to the floor! Zweihander milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Kurt Zweihander!
