And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nakagome Kakuzo!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Franklyn Lucas and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tucker thuds a left hand into Kakuzo's body.
Kakuzo lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Nakagome Kakuzo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tucker lands a big head kick that sends Kakuzo tumbling to the mat! Tucker takes a step backwards and waves Kakuzo back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Nakagome Kakuzo has been cut.
Kakuzo lands a nice shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tucker drops Kakuzo with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kakuzo looks back up at him and smiles so Tucker waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Kakuzo is rocked!
Tucker weaves into range and cracks Kakuzo right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Kakuzo goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Tucker is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jeffrey Tucker!
