Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Giang Hao!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Jan Blachowicz!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blachowicz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Blachowicz looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Hao throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Blachowicz.
Blachowicz throws a jab but it's blocked by Hao.
Hao lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Jan Blachowicz has been cut.
Hao feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Blachowicz sprawling to the canvas! Blachowicz rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hao finish him?!
Blachowicz is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hao throws a pinpoint strike between Blachowicz's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Blachowicz crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Hao scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Giang Hao!
Giang Hao was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
