Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Sarkisov (ranked 902 p4p, 743 weight class) and Jed Hall (ranked 54 p4p, 45 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Sergei Sarkisov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jed Hall! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sarkisov pushes off an throws an elbow but Hall leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Hall lands a right hand that snaps the head of Sarkisov backwards.
Hall is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Sarkisov can't fight it off and eventually Hall manages to take the fight to the floor. Sarkisov looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hall accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hall loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hall lands a couple of digs. Sarkisov preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Hall throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sarkisov works some decent striking defense from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hall trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Hall wants to control from the top but Sarkisov keeps moving. Sarkisov working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hall.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Sarkisov wants to stand and escape but Hall is having none of it. Hall not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Hall trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Hall is taking a break and basically stalling. Hall wants to pass the guard but Sarkisov is keeping the position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.  The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Hall tries for a takedown but Sarkisov sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Sarkisov lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Hall shoots in for a double leg but Sarkisov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Hall avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Sarkisov tries to close the distance and clinch but Hall swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Sarkisov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hall was well out of range. Poor timing from Sarkisov.

Hall turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Hall manages to end up in side control. Sarkisov is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at GAMMA Gym that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. That was a close round but I would say that Sergei Sarkisov will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

And that's the end of the fight! Sergei Sarkisov showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sarkisov, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
