Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vitali Kersikov I I (ranked 585 p4p, 486 weight class) and Shape Shifter (ranked 80 p4p, 63 weight class). Kersikov I I comes to the cage accompanied by Sefa & Mr. Ivex - LSD Problem. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 18 - 1, fighting out of London, Shape Shifter!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Shifter scores with a takedown into Kersikov I I's guard.
Shifter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kersikov I I swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shifter has gone for a leg lock! Kersikov I I slips out almost immediately though and dives into Shifter's guard.

Our spies down at at London MMA Club inform us that Shifter has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Shifter isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Kersikov I I stacks Shifter on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kersikov I I!

Shifter looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kersikov I I is fending him off so far but Shifter persists. Nope, Kersikov I I circles away and we're back to standing.

It looked like Kersikov I I wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

That was a close round but I would say that Vitali Kersikov I I will probably get the nod.

Shape Shifter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kersikov I I creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Shifter's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Shifter drops to his knees and Kersikov I I pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
