The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Marka.

Marka has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Marka loads up on a big right hand but Davis slips the punch.

Davis closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Marka.
Nice body punch from Davis - that landed with a thud.

Davis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Marka misses with a lunging right hand
and Davis counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Marka throws a hook but Davis avoids it easily.
It looked like Davis was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Marka.
Davis cracks Marka with a right hand to the side of the head.
Marka throws a jab but it's blocked by Davis.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Davis moves into the clinch.
Davis lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Marka lands a right hand.
Davis lands a left hand that snaps the head of Marka backwards.
Marka tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Davis lands a body punch in the clinch.
Marka looks winded!

Davis manages to break the clinch.
Marka throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Marka lands with a straight right. Davis didn't see that one coming.

Davis closes the distance and clinches.

Davis lands a nice uppercut.
Davis is working Marka over against the cage.
Davis lands a right hand.
Marka takes a shot to the head.

Davis lands with a right to the head.

Davis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Marka takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Davis throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Davis lands a jab to Marka's midsection.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Davis cracks Marka with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Marka is rocked!
Davis dances in with a quick combination. Marka is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Davis snaps Marka's head back. Marka stumbles backwards against the cage. Davis steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Marka's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Marka just didn't come prepared.
